This document describes the privacy policy for four types of Running Affair product users:
  • Primary Customers are those customers that purchase Running Affair services that support their product sales, event registrations, training programs, and other Running Affair features. Primary Customers can use Running Affair to create an Event, such as a race, that is made available for for sale and registration for their Event Customers. Primary Customers can use Running Affair to create a Community of their own customers.

Primary Customer Privacy Policy

Primary Customer Community Members and Event Customers that are associated with a Primary Customer should review the additional privacy policy of that Primary Customer.

For example, if a school uses Running Affair to create a race Event to raise funds for that school certain pieces of information are collected as part of the sales and registration process, such as name, contact information, gender, age, and so on. In this example a participant should review the school's privacy policy as well. The privacy policy described here applies to the Primary Customer and their participant's use of Running Affair.

Sales and Event Registration Information

Running Affair does make available sales and event participant registration information only to the Primary Customer, in this example the school putting on a fundraising race. How the Primary Customer uses that information is subject to their privacy policy and internal uses, except as further clarified herein. Two example uses are in their internal marketing and fundraising campaigns and to import registration information into a Race Timing system.

Restrictions on the Use of Running Affair Generated Data

Running Affair does not allow information generated through Running Affair to be sold for any reason, or, distributed to other third parties for any purpose such as marketing and advertising or other purposes not directly related to the Primary Customer.

Event Customer Feedback

At some point, as part of the sales and registration process, we may provide the option for an Event Customer to provide feedback to Running Affair about the user experience at the end of the sales and registration process.
